Ongoing collaboration with the City Council of Eindhoven since 2022

Since 2022, I’ve collaborated with the City Council of Eindhoven to elevate the Social Design Talent Award into a more inclusive, accessible, and impactful initiative. This prestigious award, which recognises designers addressing societal challenges, offers a €10,000 prize to the winner to further develop their project within the council’s domain.
DEMOCRATISING THE PROCESS
As part of this ongoing partnership, I initiated efforts to democratise the sign-up process—transforming it from a closed, institute-led nomination system into an open call. This shift not only gave designers the agency to submit their own work but also expanded accessibility by including MBO education alongside HBO and WO institutions.
OVERVIEW EXHIBITION
In 2022, I designed and curated the 10 Years Social Design Talent Award Overview Exhibition, showcasing a decade of winners. The exhibition highlighted the award’s impact on the careers of past talents and its role in shaping Eindhoven’s social and cultural fabric.
COACHING
My role as a strategic designer and creative coach focuses on guiding nominees to refine their ideas, craft compelling narratives, and create impactful pitches. These pitches, recorded as videos, serve as both a jury presentation tool and an opportunity for widespread visibility across social channels—resulting in valuable industry contacts and job opportunities for nominees.
